Luanda — Angolan candidate for the African Union (AU) Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment, Josefa Sacko, will be presented this Friday to the African Group of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Angola, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In its note reached Angop on Thursday, the source states that the ceremony will allow the ambassador Josefa Sacko to present her sector’s insights and the objective that led her to seek a second term.

The videoconference event will be chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, and will be witnessed by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Esmeralda Mendonça.

Josefa Sacko was elected African Union Commissioner for Rural Economy and Agriculture, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment in January 2017, at 28th AU Summit.
